So what have we here? It appears to be a section for me to rationalise the existence of this very blog, and perhaps give you some clue as to who is behind it.

I can just see it now. Your mind is running rampant with possibilities. Who could this incredibly interesting person be? (I mean, it’s not like just anyone can have a blog these days…)

Is this the blog of a mad scientist, keen to take over the world?

Perhaps I am a DIY Dada enthusiast, who chose the blog title by grabbing three words at random out of a bag of Beatles lyrics.

Or perhaps this is the work of someone with a deep and troublesome addiction to exclamation marks!

As you’ll no doubt have guessed, the truth is not nearly as interesting as any of the above options. Really interesting people don’t have to come up with a bunch of weird potential selves in an attempt to pique people’s interest. They’re just interesting, no effort required.

Hmmm, so what do I do now? Do I share the incredible averageness of my reality? Or just let you make up your own mind?

I think the latter. It uses up less space and requires less effort from me.
